Rosemary O’Connell Sulzbach (January 5, 1947 – June 11, 2025) was a West Hartford native, and attended The Oxford School, graduating from Wellesley College as a Wellesley College Scholar. She was employed in New Haven for 53 years in challenging administrative positions, first at a major law firm, then at Achievement First charter schools, and for the last 15 years at The New Haven Museum. Rosemary was a long-time board member of the Hyland House (and our invaluable grant-writer!), a past president of the Wellesley Club of New Haven, the first female president of the Madison Beach Club and Treasurer of the Connecticut Food Bank. Rosemary will be greatly missed for her wit, intellect and wisdom.
