Sue Kowalski

Sue Kowalski is the House Manager of the Hyland House. She educates and schedules docents and arranges special tours by appointment. She keeps tabs on the needs of the museum as some of her other duties.

Sue had been a docent herself since 2010. She is an avid reader and continues to share her vast knowledge of American History. She loves research and continually contributes to the promotion of this museum. Sue is also the Hyland House’s resident hearth cook educator. She has been educating the town’s fourth graders for the Early Guilford Days program for the past 21 years. She also demonstrates open hearth cooking using 18th century recipes for public events.
