Jane Wylie Marshall (August 2, 1929 – February 6, 2025) graduated from the Brearley School in New York City, attended Connecticut College and graduated from the University of Denver. While raising her four children on the Upper West Side, Jane was active in NYC politics and was a founding member of the Riverside Democrats. Jane worked at the Brearley School from 1969-1984, retiring as Director of Admissions.  Jane and her husband, Joe, moved to Guilford in 1993, where Jane became active in the Guilford Community. She was a valuable and energetic board member at the Hyland House for many years.  She was also on the boards of other Guilford organizations, including the Guilford Free Library. She was a founding member of the Secret Gardens of Guilford Tour. Jane will be remembered for her humor, her intellect and her humanity.
